With a cancer diagnosis, you become a member of the club no one wants to join. Welcome to the Courage Club! The Courage Club by The Boon Project is a place for young adult cancer fighters and survivors in the Lowcountry (and beyond) to connect with others who understand the physical, mental, and emotional battle that is a cancer diagnosis as a young adult. Courage Club features a free private online support group, free monthly gatherings and group community service projects. Some events are private for Courage Club members only, while others include the all important caregivers and family members.
A subgroup of Courage Club, the Metathriver Group, meets at least once a quarter and provides support to young adults facing a terminal, chronic, or stage IV cancer diagnosis. This group also has a private online support community.

Upcoming Courage Club Event
Courage Club goes virtual!
Our Courage Club has continued virtual events throughout the summer. "Check Ins", Trivia Nights, Happy Hour, Bible Study, and more have kept our Zoom rooms busy! As mentioned above, we will do a combination of virtual and in person events this fall. Courage Club members are encouraged to look for updates in our private Facebook group as we will post times, dates, and locations there for upcoming events. We are monitoring disease spread and social distancing guidelines, so all plans are subject to change. Stay tuned and email or text Katherine if you have questions!
